There are many fields and meadows near my apartment complex. They make for a perfect place to gather edibles and just to hang out. Because of all the open space and the close proximity to downtown Houston, there is a high amount of homeless traffic that frequents the area. This trickles down into good samaritains frequenting the area to spread the “good news” and to hand out food.  ...

Allergies Be Damned!
So as spring rolls around, the good old sniffly nose and stuffy eyes reared their ugly heads at me. By now, I’ve pretty much figured out how to kick it in my own body. It takes about a week to really kick in but there is no rebound effect like one gets with Allegra or the like.  Osha...

Passion Flower Tea
It is a pretty common occurrence for me to make random teas when I’m feeling well just to enjoy the taste. There has been a bag of cut passion flowers and leaves sitting in my herb cabinet for ages and so I decided to open it up and see what it’s like. I put it and some lemon grass into the infuser and did my thing.  2 cups in I start to feel pretty relaxed and sleepy I look down at...
